Unemployment and Credit Crisis
By Credit Federal | Published 04/27/2009
Consumers may wonder if the unemployment rate is rising or decreasing. We may all wonder. Ecomomists have varying predictions and most have different view points.

Economists appear to voice the opinion that unemployment will continue to downslide the next few months. A ten percent rate or higher unemployment rate is the best guess. The view for the jobless rate is that it will continue to rise slowly into 2010.

Companies who decide to replace staff, may do so carefully to make the best choice. With many companies getting rid of inventory too, eventually they will need to restock and restaff.

Some who have lost jobs chose to move to a different location. But the lack of jobs is nation wide. Moving may not hold a promise of getting employment. The only jobs that may hire may be in education or with the government. With unemployment encompassing across so many occupations, finding solutions may be harder.

Some people are making decisions to move in with parents, family or others due to job losses. This is one way to try to survive the problems of the economy. Some households have no income and their mortgage note and bills are still due. Having a mortgage makes it harder to transplant to another area.

Hopefully with help from the Federal Reserve, the economy can start an upward turn. An improvement may not be drastic but welcomed. The sooner people get jobs and start spending, the better the economy will become and the credit crisis will lessen.
