Auto sale records plunged the lowest in 28 years and China sold more in one month than the US. The problem is not with just one but with all auto makers due to limited credit. Despite sweet deals and some of the best incentives ever, people are not jumping on the offers but are instead sitting out the credit crisis and waiting for the economy to improve, too afraid to let go of their cash.
Auto makers and analysis predict that consumer spending will increase during the second part of the year. So until consumers decide to stop waiting on the economy to improve and start spending more, auto makers will continue to experience the plunge. Those consumers with cash or with good credit to obtain an auto loan could negotiate with car dealers for the deal of a lifetime if they act quickly.
