Rebuild Bad Credit. Do It Yourself Credit Repair.
Over time, you can rebuild bad credit scores. These credit repair tips will get you on your way:

Credit Repair is much, much more than correcting credit report errors. It's also correcting spending and bill paying habits. When you rebuild credit, you are proving to credit card companies and loan lenders that you are now more responsble with credit.

To rebuild credit, you need credit to prove you will handle it responsibly. So if you don't already have a credit card, you need to apply for one which you can get approval. For poor credit people, there are special offers for a credit card to rebuild credit. Or, you can apply for one of the guaranteed approval credit cards, such as a secured credit card.

Credit Card Application Tips:

  • Read all the Terms & Conditions of each credit card offer to not only find the one that will approve you, but is also best for you.
  • Don't submit a lot of credit card applications, because doing such may be viewed by other credit card companies as your desperation to get credit, and they may subsequently consider you a very high risk.
  • Submitting too many applications can further harm your score.
  • With poor credit, be prepared to pay a higher interest rate than good credit people, and always keep your higher rate in mind so you won't end up with a lot of interest debt.

Establish new credit habits. You want to rebuild bad credit, not re-create bad credit.
