Chase is branding its distinctive blue octagon logo on ATMs in more than 300 Walgreens drug stores in Florida, which has increased its Florida ATM network by a multiplier of five.
Chase will eventually have 317 stores in the coming months, mostly in key areas.
The grand total for Chase's ATM presence in Florida will be about 400 ATMs, up from only 70 of which 39 are at Walt Disney World and 13 are at Universal Studios.
Annually, nearly one million people migrate to Florida during the winter season and stay an average of five months, according to a University of Florida Bureau of Economic and Business Research study.
The Florida ATMs expand Chase's long-standing relationship with Walgreens. In 2005, Chase added ATMs at 220 Walgreens stores in Arizona. By year end 2006, Chase expects to have ATMs in 1,200 Walgreens stores in seven states, including 385 in the Chicago area.
